AWS has announced the general availability of the AWS CDK L2 Construct for Amazon Cognito Identity Pools, a new feature that simplifies identity management for developers.
- Provides high-level, intent-based APIs for creating and managing Cognito Identity Pools
- Automatically handles role and permission creation for authenticated and unauthenticated users
- Supports multiple identity providers like social login, OpenID Connect, and Cognito user pools
- Reduces boilerplate code and complexity compared to previous L1 CloudFormation resources
