AWS Elastic Beanstalk now supports retrieving secrets and configuration data directly from AWS Secrets Manager and AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store.
- Developers can reference Secrets Manager and Parameter Store resources using Amazon Resource Names (ARNs) in environment variables
- Eliminates need for application redeployment when configuration values change
- Provides automatic encryption of secrets at rest and in transit
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US) Regions
- Simplifies application configuration and enhances security management
This integration allows Elastic Beanstalk users to more easily manage and access sensitive configuration data without complex manual processes.
