Amazon RDS Proxy now supports TLS 1.3 for PostgreSQL database connections on Amazon Aurora and RDS, enhancing security and connection protocols.
- Introduces improved cryptographic algorithms for TLS connections
- Enables automatic negotiation of the most secure TLS version
- Allows configuration of PostgreSQL databases to require TLS 1.3
- Supports setting ssl_min_protocol_version parameter in parameter groups
- Maintains RDS Proxy's goals of improving application scalability and security
