Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion has introduced enhanced autoscaling capabilities for data ingestion pipelines, enabling more dynamic and comprehensive scaling.
- New autoscaling parameters include Amazon SQS queue size, persistent buffer lag, and HTTP connection count
- Expands beyond previous scaling based on memory and CPU utilization
- Enables more resilient and efficient data ingestion pipelines
- Helps optimize resource utilization and reduce ingestion bottlenecks
- Supports high-throughput data streams for log analytics, observability, and security analytics
The enhanced autoscaling is now available in all AWS Regions where OpenSearch Ingestion is offered, with no additional cost to users.
