AWS IAM Identity Center has enhanced session management and trusted identity propagation (TIP) capabilities for customers using Microsoft Active Directory as their identity source.
- Session duration can now be configured from 15 minutes to 90 days
- Users can list and delete active sessions
- Extended 90-day session option for Amazon Q Developer Pro
- Enables trusted identity propagation for business intelligence applications
- Supports single sign-on across AWS applications and accounts
These enhancements provide more flexibility in managing user access, session controls, and application authentication while maintaining centralized identity management.
