AWS is launching new guidance and tools for cloud-native fast-turnaround media workflows at NAB 2025, as part of the Cloud-native Agile Production (CNAP) program in collaboration with BBC, Sky, and AWS Partners.

  • Introduces Time-addressable Media Store (TAMS) API specification
  • Provides a dedicated solutions guidance site for media workflows
  • Offers new TAMS tools, including a web UI and Omakase Player
  • Enables content-centric workflows using object storage
  • Supports live capture and fast-turnaround editing

The initiative aims to solve challenges in cloud media workflows by providing a scalable, interoperable, and open-source framework for content creation in news, sports, and entertainment.
