AWS announces Pixtral Large 25.02 model in Amazon Bedrock serverless

AWS has announced the availability of the Pixtral Large 25.02 model in Amazon Bedrock as a fully managed, serverless offering. This multimodal model developed by Mistral AI offers several key capabilities:
- 128K context window for complex visual reasoning tasks
- Multilingual support across dozens of languages
- Programming language capabilities in over 80 languages
- Agent-centric design with function calling and JSON output
- Cross-Region inference across multiple AWS Regions
The model enables developers to perform advanced multimodal tasks like image analysis, document interpretation, and complex problem-solving without managing infrastructure. It is available in multiple US and European regions and can be accessed through AWS Management Console, CLI, and SDKs.
