AWS has introduced a new billing feature for Amazon VPC Peering that simplifies cost tracking and understanding.

<li>New usage type "Region_Name-VpcPeering-In/Out-Bytes" added to billing reports</li>
<li>Allows customers to easily view VPC Peering usage in Cost Explorer and Cost and Usage Report</li>
<li>Previously, VPC Peering usage was buried under intra-regional Data Transfer usage</li>
<li>No changes to actual pricing or VPC Peering connection configurations</li>
<li>Applies to all AWS commercial and AWS Gov Cloud (US) Regions</li>
</ul>

This update helps customers better understand and track their VPC Peering costs without making any operational changes.
