AWS Lambda@Edge has introduced advanced logging controls to improve log management and monitoring for edge functions.
- Offers three new logging control features:
- JSON structured logs for easier searching and filtering
- Log level granularity controls to instantly switch log levels
- Custom CloudWatch log group selection for better log aggregation
- Can be configured via Lambda APIs, console, CLI, SAM, and CloudFormation
These enhancements provide developers with more flexibility and control over logging at the edge, making it easier to monitor and troubleshoot Lambda@Edge functions.
