Regional Expansion
AWS has launched CloudWatch cross-account observability in AWS GovCloud (US) Regions, enabling comprehensive monitoring and troubleshooting across multiple AWS accounts.
- Allows seamless searching, visualization, and analysis of metrics, logs, and traces across account boundaries
- Enables searching log groups across multiple accounts and running cross-account Logs Insights queries
- Supports creating cross-account Contributor Insights rules and Metrics Insights queries
- Provides AWS X-Ray Trace Map for monitoring cross-account applications and distributed traces
- Eliminates the need to switch between accounts during troubleshooting
The feature is now available in all commercial AWS Regions and AWS GovCloud (US) Regions with no extra cost for logs and metrics, and the first trace copy is free.
