AWS AppSync Events now supports data source integrations for channel namespaces, enhancing serverless WebSocket API capabilities.
- Developers can now associate Lambda functions, DynamoDB tables, and Aurora databases with channel namespace handlers
- Enables direct connections to Lambda functions without additional coding
- Supports both synchronous and asynchronous event processing modes
- Allows event transformation, filtering, and batch storage
- Available in all AWS Regions where AppSync is offered
