Amazon Verified Permissions now supports tagging policy stores, offering enhanced management capabilities for customers:

  • Enables key-value pair tagging for policy stores
  • Allows cost allocation by tenant, team, department, or application
  • Provides tag-based access controls using IAM permissions
  • Simplifies searching for policy stores within an account
  • Uses Cedar, an open-source policy language for fine-grained authorization

The feature is available in all regions where Verified Permissions is supported, enabling more granular and context-aware access control for applications like multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
