Amazon Aurora and RDS for PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB now offer Reserved Instances for Graviton4-based R8g and M8g instances, providing enhanced performance and cost optimization.

  • Graviton4 instances offer up to 40% performance improvement and 29% better price-performance
  • Three payment options: All Upfront, Partial Upfront, and No Upfront
  • Instances available with sizes up to 48xlarge and 8:1 memory to vCPU ratio
  • Support for Aurora MySQL, Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB
  • Available in all AWS regions with Graviton4 On-Demand pricing

Customers can purchase Reserved Instances through AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, or AWS SDK, with detailed pricing available on Aurora and RDS pricing pages.
