Amazon RDS for Oracle has added support for the April 2025 Release Update (RU) for Oracle Database versions 19c and 21c.
- Supports Standard Edition 2 and Enterprise Edition
- Includes bug and security fixes
- Can be upgraded through RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Auto minor version upgrade (AmVU) is available
- Update is available in all AWS regions with Oracle RDS support
AWS recommends upgrading to this release update to address security vulnerabilities and improve database performance.
