Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports the July 2025 Release Update (RU) for Oracle Database versions 19c and 21c, covering both Standard Edition 2 and Enterprise Edition.
- Includes bug and security fixes from the July 2025 RU
- Available in all AWS regions where RDS for Oracle is supported
- Can upgrade via RDS Management Console, AWS SDK, or CLI
- Recommends enabling auto minor version upgrade (AmVU)
- Users should review Oracle's release notes for detailed changes
