AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 P6-B200 instances powered by NVIDIA B200 GPUs, offering significant performance improvements for AI workloads.

  • Up to 2x performance compared to previous P5en instances
  • Features 8 Blackwell GPUs with 1440 GB high-bandwidth GPU memory
  • 60% increase in GPU memory bandwidth
  • Includes 5th Generation Intel Xeon processors (Emerald Rapids)
  • Up to 3.2 terabits per second of Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFAv4) networking
  • Powered by AWS Nitro System for secure AI workload scaling
  • Currently available in US West (Oregon) region

The new P6-B200 instances are designed to provide enhanced performance and capabilities for machine learning and AI training and inference tasks.
