New Amazon EC2 P6-B200 instances powered by NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs to accelerate AI innovations

AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon EC2 P6-B200 instances powered by NVIDIA Blackwell B200 GPUs, designed to accelerate AI, machine learning, and high-performance computing workloads.

  • Features eight NVIDIA B200 GPUs with 1440 GB of high-bandwidth GPU memory
  • Delivers up to two times performance improvement compared to P5en instances
  • Supports large-scale distributed AI training and inferencing for foundation models
  • Offers 125% improvement in GPU TFLOPs and 60% increase in GPU memory bandwidth
  • Available in US West (Oregon) region through EC2 Capacity Blocks for ML

The new instances are designed to help customers accelerate AI innovations, reduce training time, and lower inference costs across various applications like climate modeling and drug discovery.
