AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS) has announced support for Slurm version 24.11, introducing managed accounting capabilities for high performance computing (HPC) clusters.
- Enables accounting features on PCS clusters
- Allows monitoring of cluster usage
- Supports enforcing resource limits
- Provides fine-grained access control to queues and compute node groups
- AWS manages the accounting database automatically
Users can enable this feature easily through the AWS Management Console, simplifying HPC workload management and resource tracking.
