AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS) now supports Slurm CLI Filter plugins
News
AWS Parallel Computing Service (PCS) now supports Slurm CLI Filter plugins, enabling custom extensions to Slurm scheduling without modifying Slurm directly.
- Define custom policies for job submission to clusters
- Verify specific flags or fields when users submit jobs
- Automatically reject jobs missing required attributes
- Modify job parameters programmatically
- Available in all AWS Regions where PCS is available
This enhancement allows HPC users to enforce custom scheduling policies and job validation rules within their PCS clusters while maintaining a managed service experience.
