AWS has expanded the Cost Optimization Hub feature to support more granular Savings Plans and reservation preferences for cost management.
- Users can now configure preferred Savings Plans and reservation options
- Supports selecting 1 or 3-year term lengths
- Provides payment option choices including All upfront, Partial upfront, and No upfront
- Helps align savings recommendations with organizational commitment preferences
- Available at no additional charge in most AWS Regions
The feature allows easier identification and aggregation of AWS cost optimization recommendations across various services, enabling more precise savings potential calculations.
