AWS Security Hub now supports NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2

AWS Security Hub has expanded its security compliance capabilities by introducing support for NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2, a cybersecurity framework for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information.

• Includes 63 automated controls for evaluating compliance with NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 2 requirements
• Available in all AWS Regions, including AWS GovCloud (US) and China Regions
• Supports central configuration for enabling the standard across multiple accounts and regions
• Helps organizations protect confidentiality of unclassified information in non-federal systems
• Can be tried for free with AWS Free Tier for 30 days

This update enhances AWS Security Hub's ability to help organizations meet stringent cybersecurity standards and protect sensitive information.
