Amazon SageMaker HyperPod has announced the general availability of EC2 P6-B200 instances powered by NVIDIA B200 GPUs, offering significant performance improvements for AI training.
- Features 8 Blackwell GPUs with 1440 GB of high-bandwidth GPU memory
- 60% increase in GPU memory bandwidth compared to P5en instances
- Uses 5th Generation Intel Xeon processors (Emerald Rapids)
- Up to 3.2 terabits per second of Elastic Fabric Adapter (EFAv4) networking
- Powered by AWS Nitro System for secure and reliable AI workload scaling
- Available through SageMaker HyperPod in US West (Oregon) region
The new instances provide up to 2x performance compared to previous P5en instances, enabling more efficient machine learning model training.
