AWS Glue Data Catalog usage metrics now available with Amazon CloudWatch

AWS has introduced usage metrics for the AWS Glue Data Catalog in Amazon CloudWatch, providing enhanced observability for lakehouse API usage.
- Enables monitoring of API usage performance indicators
- Tracks reads, updates, and deletions of lakehouse resources
- Allows tracking of catalogs, tables, partitions, connections, and statistics
- Supports setting up CloudWatch alarms for usage thresholds
- Available in all AWS Regions with Data Catalog support
The new feature helps customers identify bottlenecks, detect anomalies, and understand usage patterns in their lakehouse architecture, improving API management and performance monitoring.
