Amazon Connect now supports parallel execution of AWS Lambda functions in contact center flows, enhancing customer interaction capabilities.

  • Enables concurrent execution of multiple Lambda functions
  • Allows flow to continue progressing while Lambda functions run
  • Can perform simultaneous tasks like checking customer purchases and promotions
  • Configurable through drag-and-drop flow designer or public APIs
  • Available in all AWS regions where Amazon Connect is supported

This update improves contact center efficiency by enabling faster, more dynamic customer interactions through parallel Lambda function execution.
