AWS has released IoT Greengrass version 2.15, introducing significant updates to both nucleus and nucleus lite core components for edge computing:
- Enhanced secret and log management for improved security and troubleshooting
- Nucleus lite now supports Docker container management
- Lightweight edge runtime optimized for resource-constrained devices (5MB RAM)
- Enables deployment of containerized applications in limited-resource environments
- Available in all AWS Regions where AWS IoT Greengrass is offered
The release advances AWS IoT Greengrass capabilities, providing more flexible and efficient edge computing solutions for IoT applications.
