Amazon EventBridge has introduced enhanced logging capabilities to help developers monitor and debug event-driven applications more effectively.
- Provides comprehensive event lifecycle tracking across event buses
- Supports logging to Amazon CloudWatch Logs, S3, and Kinesis Data Firehose
- Offers three log levels: Error, Info, and Trace
- Generates detailed log entries for event successes, failures, and retries
- Includes rich metadata like latency timing, error messages, and status codes
- Works with custom event buses, partner event sources, and API destinations
- No additional cost beyond standard log storage pricing
The new logging feature helps developers quickly identify and diagnose issues in event-driven architectures by providing granular visibility into event processing.
