Amazon EventBridge has introduced enhanced logging capabilities to improve observability for event-driven applications.
- Supports logging to CloudWatch Logs, S3, and Kinesis Data Firehose
- Enables logging of matched rules, errors, and target invocations
- Offers three log levels: error, info, and trace
- Optional event payload logging with privacy and cost controls
- Can be configured through AWS Management Console, CLI, or SDKs
- Available in all commercial AWS Regions at no additional cost
This new feature helps developers track event lifecycles, simplify debugging, and gain deeper insights into event processing.
