Streamline the path from data to insights with new Amazon SageMaker Catalog capabilities

AWS News Blog

AWS has announced three new Amazon SageMaker capabilities to streamline data-to-insights workflows and address disconnected data management challenges:

  • Amazon QuickSight integration allows launching dashboards directly from SageMaker Unified Studio and publishing them to SageMaker Catalog
  • Support for Amazon S3 general purpose buckets enables easier data discovery and access with fine-grained permissions
  • Automatic data onboarding from AWS Glue Data Catalog eliminates manual setup for lakehouse datasets

These capabilities provide a unified, governed experience for managing data across structured and unstructured systems, improving collaboration and insights generation. The integrations are available in all commercial AWS regions with standard SageMaker, QuickSight, and S3 pricing.
