Amazon AppStream 2.0 has expanded support for GPU-based instances by introducing the Graphics G6 instance family, which offers enhanced capabilities for graphics-intensive applications.

  • Features NVIDIA L4 Tensor Core GPUs and third-generation AMD EPYC processors
  • Offers 9 Graphics G6 instance sizes with system memory from 16 GB to 384 GB
  • Provides vCPU ranges from 4 to 96 with varying memory configurations
  • Available in 13 AWS Regions across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America
  • Supports pay-as-you-go pricing model

Users can select Graphics G6 instances when launching image builders or creating new fleets through AWS management console or SDK, offering flexible performance options for graphics-intensive workloads.
