Amazon AppStream 2.0 has added support for Graphics G6 instances with fractionalized GPU sizes, offering more flexible GPU resource allocation.

  • New G6f and Gr6f instances allow users to choose GPU fractions (1/2, 1/4, or 1/8)
  • Enables better resource optimization and cost reduction
  • Provides flexibility for graphics applications with varying GPU requirements
  • Available in 10 AWS Regions across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America
  • Can be launched via AWS management console or AWS SDK

The new offering helps organizations optimize GPU usage and costs by allowing more granular GPU resource allocation.
