Amazon ECS enables built-in blue/green deployments

Amazon ECS introduces new features to enhance containerized application deployment safety and speed:
- Built-in blue/green deployment strategy for ECS services
- Supports deployments through Application Load Balancer, Network Load Balancer, and ECS Service Connect
- Allows provisioning of new application versions alongside existing ones
- Enables custom validation steps before routing production traffic
- Provides ability to rollback deployments without downtime
- Supports automatic failure detection using CloudWatch Alarms and ECS deployment circuit breaker
The new features are available in all commercial AWS Regions and can be used with AWS Management Console, SDK, CLI, CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
