Amazon OpenSearch Service now supports direct data ingestion from Amazon RDS for MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, offering several key capabilities:
- Seamless synchronization of data from RDS databases to OpenSearch Service
- No custom code required for data pipeline development
- Automatic data format understanding and index mapping
- Ability to synchronize multiple database tables into a single OpenSearch cluster
- Support for advanced search capabilities like full-text, hybrid, and vector search
The integration is available in 16 regions across the United States, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Canada, enabling customers to easily leverage advanced search capabilities on their relational database data.
