- Emerald is a superconducting transmon-based quantum processing unit with square-lattice topology
- Hosted in Munich, Germany and available through the Europe (Stockholm) Region
- Supports quantum algorithm research and experimentation
- Compatible with multiple programming frameworks like Qiskit, NVIDIA CUDA-Q, and Pennylane
- Researchers can access AWS credits through the Cloud Credits for Research program
