AWS IoT SiteWise Introduces Multivariate Anomaly Detection

News

AWS has introduced multivariate anomaly detection in AWS IoT SiteWise, a new feature that helps industrial customers automatically identify equipment and asset abnormalities.

  • Enables predictive and preventative maintenance without machine learning expertise
  • Helps prevent costly equipment downtime
  • Detects anomalies across entire asset fleets without writing code
  • Particularly useful for monitoring critical assets like turbines, compressors, and motors
  • Available in US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions

The feature simplifies operational efficiency and equipment monitoring by providing native anomaly detection capabilities within the AWS IoT SiteWise platform.
