AWS IoT SiteWise now supports retraining of anomaly detection models

AWS IoT SiteWise has introduced new capabilities for native anomaly detection, focusing on improved model management and performance:

• Automated model retraining on a schedule from 30 days to one year
• Flexible model promotion modes:
  • Service-managed automatic promotion
  • Customer-managed manual promotion with detailed metrics
• Exposed model performance metrics including precision, recall, and AUC
• Available in US East (N. Virginia), Europe (Ireland), and Asia Pacific (Sydney) regions

These enhancements help maintain optimal anomaly detection performance by enabling automated or manually controlled model updates and providing transparent performance insights.
