Amazon SES introduces tenant isolation with automated reputation policies

News

Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) has introduced a new feature for tenant isolation and automated reputation management within a single SES account.

  • Enables creation of multiple isolated tenants with dedicated configuration sets, identities, and templates
  • Provides tenant-level metrics including messages sent, bounce rates, and complaint rates
  • Offers three reputation policy options: Standard, Strict, and None
  • Can automatically pause email sending for tenants with reputation issues
  • Publishes notifications to Amazon EventBridge for monitoring

This enhancement helps customers detect and isolate email deliverability issues while protecting overall sender reputation across different email streams.
