Amazon S3 Express One Zone now supports resilience testing through AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS), enabling developers to test application failover and recovery during potential Availability Zone disruptions.
- FIS network disruption action allows testing of S3 Express One Zone directory buckets
- Data plane requests will timeout during fault injection experiments
- Helps validate application monitoring and recovery processes
- Available in all AWS Regions where S3 Express One Zone is supported
- Can be initiated through AWS Management Console, CLI, or FIS API
