Amazon Aurora DSQL has added support for application resiliency testing through AWS Fault Injection Service (FIS), enabling customers to simulate real-world connection disruptions and validate their application's response mechanisms.

  • Simulate connection disruptions and regional failures for Aurora DSQL clusters
  • Test application resilience and recovery capabilities
  • Create experiment templates for continuous integration and release testing
  • Generate detailed reports of FIS experiments, storable in Amazon S3
  • Supports auditing and compliance with resilience testing requirements

Available in multiple AWS Regions, this feature helps customers build more robust and reliable database applications by proactively testing their response to potential infrastructure failures.
