News

Amazon Neptune Analytics has introduced a new Stop/Start capability that allows users to pause and resume graph workloads on demand, helping organizations reduce costs during idle periods.

  • Enables pausing of graph workloads used for fraud detection, recommendations, and research simulations
  • Customers can stop/start graphs via AWS Console, CLI, or API
  • While stopped, users pay only 10% of normal compute costs
  • Data and configuration settings are preserved during pause
  • Eliminates need to delete and recreate graphs repeatedly

The feature provides cost-effective solutions for startups, research teams, and enterprises by simplifying graph workload management and reducing operational complexity.
