AWS has expanded Split Cost Allocation Data for Amazon EKS to support accelerated-computing workloads with enhanced cost tracking capabilities.
- Now tracks costs for Trainium, Inferentia, NVIDIA and AMD GPU-powered container resources
- Enables granular cost allocation for AI/ML infrastructure expenses
- Supports assigning costs to specific business units and teams
- Available in Cost and Usage Report (CUR 2.0)
- Automatically enabled for existing Split Cost Allocation Data customers
The feature provides deeper visibility into container-level resource costs across CPU, memory, and accelerator resources in Amazon EKS clusters.
