Amazon MQ now supports OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization for RabbitMQ brokers, offering enhanced security and access management.
- Enables authentication using JWT-encoded OAuth 2.0 access tokens
- Supports both single instance and Multi-AZ cluster deployments
- Configurable via AWS Console, CloudFormation, CLI, and CDK
- Available in all AWS regions where Amazon MQ is supported
- Compatible with standard RabbitMQ OAuth 2.0 implementations
Users can create new RabbitMQ brokers with OAuth 2.0 or update existing broker configurations to enable the new authentication method.
