AWS adds support for three new condition keys to govern API keys for Amazon Bedrock
News
AWS has introduced three new condition keys for governing Amazon Bedrock API keys, enhancing security and access control for administrators.
- iam:ServiceSpecificCredentialServiceName: Controls which AWS services can have IAM service-specific credentials created
- iam:ServiceSpecificCredentialAgeDays: Manages the maximum duration for long-term Bedrock API keys
- bedrock:BearerTokenType: Allows or denies Bedrock requests based on API key type (short-term or long-term)
These condition keys are available across all AWS Regions, providing more granular control over API key generation, expiration, and usage for Amazon Bedrock.
