CloudFormation Hooks adds Managed Controls and Hook Activity Summary

AWS CloudFormation Hooks has introduced two significant enhancements to improve infrastructure governance and compliance:

• Managed Proactive Controls allow customers to validate resource configurations against AWS best practices without custom Hook logic
• Controls can be selected from the AWS Control Tower Controls Catalog and run in warn mode for testing
• A new Hooks Invocation Summary page provides a centralized view of Hook activity, showing control invocations and outcomes
• AWS-managed controls are curated to align with industry best practices
• The feature is available in commercial and GovCloud (US) regions
