Amazon ElastiCache supports M7g and R7g Graviton3-based nodes in additional AWS Regions

Amazon ElastiCache has expanded support for Graviton3-based M7g and R7g node families across multiple AWS Regions.

  • New Regions include Canada, Middle East & Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific
  • Graviton3 nodes offer improved performance compared to Graviton2
  • R7g.4xlarge Redis nodes demonstrate up to 28% increased throughput
  • Performance improvements include 21% better P99 latency
  • Nodes deliver up to 25% higher networking bandwidth

Users can create new clusters or upgrade existing ones through the AWS Management Console, with detailed pricing and availability information available on the ElastiCache pricing page.
