Amazon MQ now supports Graviton3-based M7g instances for RabbitMQ, offering significant performance improvements and cost benefits:

  • Up to 50% higher workload capacity and 85% throughput improvements compared to M5 instances
  • Powered by Arm-based AWS Graviton3 processors
  • Available in sizes from M7g.medium to M7g.16xlarge
  • Supports both single instance and Multi-AZ cluster deployment modes
  • Optimized Amazon EBS disk volumes with reduced data storage costs
  • In-place upgrade option from M5 to M7g brokers

The new M7g instances are available in most AWS regions, providing improved performance and efficiency for RabbitMQ workloads.
