Amazon CloudWatch Observability Access Manager Now Supports VPC Endpoints

AWS has announced VPC endpoints for Amazon CloudWatch Observability Access Manager (OAM), enhancing security and connectivity for cross-account observability management.

  • Enables secure, private connections between VPCs and CloudWatch OAM
  • Keeps traffic within the AWS network, avoiding public internet
  • Supports managing cross-account observability links and sinks
  • Compatible with both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing
  • Leverages AWS PrivateLink security controls like security groups

The feature is now available in commercial AWS regions, AWS GovCloud (US), and China Regions, providing enhanced network security for observability management.
