AWS has announced VPC endpoints for Amazon CloudWatch Observability Access Manager (OAM), enhancing security and connectivity for cross-account observability management.
- Enables secure, private connections between VPCs and CloudWatch OAM
- Keeps traffic within the AWS network, avoiding public internet
- Supports managing cross-account observability links and sinks
- Compatible with both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing
- Leverages AWS PrivateLink security controls like security groups
The feature is now available in commercial AWS regions, AWS GovCloud (US), and China Regions, providing enhanced network security for observability management.
