AWS has announced the AWS Space Accelerator: APJ 2025 program, supporting 67 innovative startups across Australia, India, and Japan in the space technology sector.
- Program provides up to $100,000 in AWS credits, technical guidance, mentorship, and industry connections
- Largest cohort to date, nearly tripling the 2024 program with 150+ applicants
- Startups focus on segments including:
- Geospatial applications (51%)
- Launch and space infrastructure (42%)
- Simulation (7%)
- Reflects significant space sector investments in Australia, India, and Japan
- Supports innovations in areas like space domain awareness, Earth observation, AI computing, and orbital services
The 10-week virtual program aims to accelerate space technology innovation by providing comprehensive support to emerging startups in the Asia-Pacific region.
