AWS has launched Amazon ECS Managed Instances, a new fully managed compute option for Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) that simplifies infrastructure management.
- Automatically provisions and configures optimal EC2 instances based on task requirements
- Supports various instance types including GPU-accelerated and network-optimized
- Dynamically scales EC2 instances to match workload needs
- Provides continuous infrastructure optimization and cost reduction
- Implements regular security patching every 14 days
- Available in six AWS regions, including US East, US West, Europe, Africa, and Asia Pacific
The service aims to eliminate infrastructure management overhead while providing high-performance, secure, and scalable container deployment.
