News
AWS Parallel Computing Service (AWS PCS) now supports dynamic cluster updates, allowing users to modify Slurm workload manager settings without rebuilding their cluster.
- Users can adjust accounting configurations and workload management settings on existing clusters
- Modifications can be made through AWS Management Console, CLI, or SDK
- Provides more flexibility for high performance computing (HPC) environments
- Enables adapting to changing requirements without disrupting operations
- Available in all AWS Regions that support AWS PCS
This enhancement simplifies HPC cluster management by allowing more dynamic configuration changes, helping researchers and engineers focus on their work instead of infrastructure maintenance.
