Amazon AppStream 2.0 has announced the availability of Microsoft applications with included licenses, offering new flexibility for enterprise users.
- Now includes Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project 2021/2024 in Standard and Professional editions
- Supports 32-bit and 64-bit versions for On-Demand and Always-On fleets
- Administrators can dynamically control application availability
- Users can access Microsoft applications seamlessly within AppStream 2.0 sessions
- Requires using an AppStream 2.0 Image Builder with an agent released after October 2, 2025
Billing is per hour for streaming resources and per-user per-month for Microsoft applications, with availability in all AppStream 2.0 regions.
